Whew....

Okay, two things I've been craving like crazy lately, and pretty much the only two things(besides sushi) that I've craved at all since I started this low-carb stuff. Those being pizza, and ice cream. So we had a lunch meeting today at work. What's served? Pizza and freakin' ice cream!!! Guess who said no to both and drank a small cup of diet Coke. :) I'm proud of myself for being able to say no, but it stinks have to explain to a room full of co-workers why I'm not eating pizza. Especially free pizza. Then you always get the jokers, "well you know this is low-carb pizza right?". If only... :/
Anyway, still got a craving for pizza and ice cream :(

Must be that time of year...I've been having the SAME cravings!! But, I haven't had pizza or ice cream in 10 years, and I don't plan on even 'nearing the edge' of that slippery slope, not when I'm happily keeping off 116lbs!!

Have you tried LC ice cream? I don't know if this is available where you live, but Dreyers Carb Smart is actually really good. I have non LC family members who prefer it over regular ice cream.

Plus if you get vanilla, you can mix in a splash of davinci's and get almost any flavor you want.

Yum yum!

While I am not craving pizza, or ice cream.. I do wish I were there just so you didn't feel alone in your saying no-ness :-)

I am sooooo glad you didn't give in! I'm proud too!

Wow!!! I don't think I could make it ten years without pizza. I mean I'm pretty sure I'm party Ninja Turtle... I'm not in my teens anymore, but still.. man I love pizza! haha That's awesome though! 116 pounds :) I think from my heaviest, in high school, I'm down close to that. I know I was over 300 for a bit, but I don't know how much over, I avoided scales like the plague back then.

Jenn—No, I haven't tried the LC ice creams, I kinda of want to avoid those. I have to try and justify not having ice cream by saying it's not really good for me, and that's how I avoid it. If I make it too accessible, I'll want it all the time, and it's easy to slide down the hill of real ice cream after getting used to the "fake" stuff.
