Back from training

And my weigh in put me up another 2lbs. We're at a loss.

Would love to write more, but my keyboard is broken, and it took 10 min to write this!

Are you maybe eating a food you're allergic/intolerant to or something? I've read a few places that we are often somewhat allergic or intolerant to the foods we crave, and that eating them makes it more difficult for us to lose weight. Maybe you could try taking stuff out of your diet and adding things in one item at a time to see if that helps? Otherwise, I'm at a loss, too. You should only GAIN weight from exercise for the first couple weeks, while your body holds on to more water in an attempt to repair the muscles that were torn during exercise.

are you pregnant? Am I allowed to ask that? Sorry if it is out of line.

Hahah you're allowed to ask anything! But no, absolutely NOT pregnant :-)

YUCK! Sorry! I have no idea what's going on. You're even following the trainers instructions for eating. Do you have PCOS? or insulin resistance? that makes it impossible to lose weight. UGH!

Yes, I do have PCOS. So, I can understand a normal resistance, or losing "slowly" but, burning 4000 calories every week and eating 1400 a day, just doesn't seem to qualify as "resistance" so much as complete disregard for science!

Ugh, I'm so so sorry! I agree your body really is defying all the rules. Are you treating your PCOS with anything? I used to be a varsity swimmer and never lost weight then either, despite 23 hours of hard workouts each week. I worked with a doctor and a nutritionist to find some medications that treat the insulin resistance. Email me at fatbustermack@gmail.com if you want to chat more about that.
