Pop goes the kneesel

I will tell you what frustrates me.

My body!

No, I am not about to complain about not losing again. I am just going to complain about how it always seems to get in my way!

Among a laundry list of ailments, I have "bad knees" I'll spare you the technical terms, but basically.. my knee caps don't follow the groove that they are supposed to. They pop out of alignment when I walk, or do anything, really.
So, they bother me all the time, every day. But, they have been this way since... I dunno, I guess about 12 or 13 years old. I'm used to it. Some days they are worse, some days they are very noisy (and creeps people out, which I love!), some days (when it's humid!) my arthritis affects them and it's really painful.

Today is one of those humid days, and Mr. Left E. Knee is bugging the crap out of me.
And it's training night.

And I HATE, despiiiiiise! Having to tell my trainer that my knee hurts and we need to take it easy on it.

I can't stand having 'excuses'. I can't stand having to give reasons for not giving my all. I know I need to protect my knees, and stay safe. But it just frustrates me to no end to feel like I did in Junior High, with my note from the doctor to get me out of gym class. Just another fat girl trying to avoid the embarrassment.

But to end on a happy note....

IT'S SNACK TIME, BITCHES!

Ugh! I'm with you! My shoulder is messed up from swimming, I can pop it out at will...I hate it. But, what can you do. I hope your training goes well!

brings back some high school memories, but my trouble spot is my left ankle that never really healed correctly after a basketball injury.

your trainer sounds super awesome, so i hope telling her to take it a little easy wasn't too scary. better to save yourself from a worse injury.

yay for snacks!
