Day 1 of motivation madness

I started out yesterday on plan. I had a couple hard boiled eggs and some tasty wasabi and horseradish cheese for breakfast. Went to Chai's place with her for lunch and we had some tuna salad. Of course the only way you can get rid of tuna breath, is with an iced coffee from Dunkin' Donuts, so we grabbed some of those on our way back to work. :) Man I love iced coffee. After work, Chai had training, so I headed over to her place to steal her treadmill. I kicked my own ass! That treadmill showed me who's boss. I ended up busting out 3 miles in 33 minutes, and it wasn't easy. I was pretty sure I was going to die when I put it up to 7.5mph for 1/4 of a mile. I probably should have eased back into running again, it'd been quite some time.

I'm pretty proud of what I managed, but it showed me how far out of shape I've fallen. I was dead tired when I stepped off the treadmill. Making myself deals, and yelling at myself to finish what I did. I used to jog three miles in 30 mins and still be able to do a workout afterward. I'm coming back for those numbers! You better believe I'll hit and surpass them this time. :)

So far motivation 1, laziness ZERO! Plan is to head over Chai's and have her train me tonight. I'm getting prepped for starting in with Bob next week. Whew.. I'm gonna die. lol

3 miles in 33 minutes is unbelievable to me!! You and Adam both... KICKING ASS with the running! I am both incredibly proud, and undeniably jealous!! :-)

hahaha yeah, but not for long. I'll fix that though. Soon that treadmill will be crying to slow down, instead of me. haha
