Dooby Doooo... Nothing much happening here... so you get a picture dump.
Last night I made salmon.
NOMS
Sorry, I only have a raw picture. I was too hungry when it was done, and devoured without snapping a pic first! Trust me, it came out of the oven just as beautiful as it went in.
With the salmon, we had some cucumbers.. And for dessert?
A bowl of strawberries & whipped cream.
The night before, I had nothing particularly fresh in the house to cook, so I did a sweep of the fridge, and pulled everything I found out, and mixed it together.
This is what I ended up with..
Ok, it looks gnarly. Bear with me. I took some chicken breasts, plopped them in a casserole dish, with their juices. Drizzled on some balsamic vinegar, olive oil, sprinkle of salt & pepper. Then I covered them in a layer of sweet onions, then covered the whole thing in slices of smoked gruyere cheese. Baked the whole business for a little bit. It came out delicious!
With the chick, came some steamed broccoli, and some glazed carrots.
I love these carrots. My mom always made them. Joel isn't a huge carrot fan, but he LOVES these. His exact words were "THESE ARE BOTH HEAVENLY AND DELECTABLE"
No lie.
For dessert? Oranges! I had two different kinds of oranges. Look at the color difference!
Gorgeous.
(lefty was tastier)

I actually think that chicken looks tasty not gnarly! Thank you again for my package Shannon (aka Mary lol)!
that salmon looks incredible. but, i do not like cooked carrots unless they are in soup/stew.
also my security word is "flatente" which reminds me of "flatulence"
