First of the bootcamp weekend - fat massacre

I don't have a scale at home, so I have to check my weight at Chai's place. Not too big of a deal really, and it helps with the constant weight checking that has helped to doom a perception of big losses. I tend to weight myself after my work-outs. It's probably the wrong way to go about it, but I'm consistent, so for the sake of straight number checking and how much stress I'm putting on the scale, it works. Since I tend to check after the workout, I've been using the Wii scale. I've checked on both to compare the numbers, and the real scale (read Mr. Scale) are pretty close, maybe a pound off. Either way, for consistency sake, my heaviness is checked with the Wii Scale, and after my workout/playing on the Wii Fit.

Chai and I did a few time trials of different exercises yesterday, before I hit the treadmill for 30 mins. I'll say one thing, burpees will kick your ass! All exercises were with only bodyweight, then some cardio. While I was on the treadmill, jamming out to some tunes and checking out a sleeping corgi by my feet(how's that for motivation?!?), Chai was cranking out some Wii exercises. I'm really trying to work on pushing through the tiredness, and soreness on the treadmill, I gotta get past the mental block of "oh crap I'm tired and really want to stop". I've been getting a lot better at it, and pushed through a bit last night. It's pretty tough when I used to be able to jog twice as long, at a faster pace, and just can't keep up any more. So I stopped at 30 mins(31, but who's counting? lol). After finishing up my violating of the treadmill, I wrote down my time and distance (31 minutes, 2.26 miles), I woke up the corgi and we headed downstairs.

As a nice cool down, I did a little Wii Fit, and then weighed myself. 208! I'm pretty sure that's the lightest I've been in probably 3 years, and even then I was probably only at 205! That's crazy! That's a drop of about 7 pounds in 6 days! I'm digging this low-carb stuff so far. :)
