Get out your socks filled with soap...

I think I deserve a Pvt. Pyle (Vincent D'Onofrio) style beat down. I knew I was bad over my vacation, I was telling Chai it felt like I'd gained about five pounds. Well I was wrong. In the last 12 days since my last weigh in, I gained SIX pounds!!! Not so good. :( It's going to come off fast, this much I promise you! I came back from vacation, with renewed motivation, which I'm hoping lasts for good this time. Yesterday, 2.5 miles in 30 minutes on the treadmill, did my push-ups and lifted some weights. Doing curls really disheartened me though, I used to be able to curl over three times what I did yesterday. That's how far out of shape I've let myself get. I'll get back there again. Today the plan is to go to my eye doctor appointment, then hit up the gym for more cardio, and some lower body workouts. Wed. isn't planned yet, but maybe I'll see what Chai is up to, see if she wants to violate her treadmill and do some exercises with her again. ;) Let's see if she's free.

The funny thing is (no not funny haha, unfortunately) I feel mad at myself for gaining these six pounds, but not just because I let myself down. I actually feel worse about it because I have to come on here, and let all you guys know I let myself down. Especially the people who come on here and comment all the time, like Jenn, Ammy, Melissa, and especially Chai. Sorry guys. :( I'm hoping to fix this problem, and quick.

don't beat yourself up too much! Just jump back into the swing of things and get moving. easier said than done, I know!

Yeah...six pounds won't be that bad, especially once you drop the added water weight (which some of that 6 has to be).

I know what you're saying about the curls though. I haven't done my resistant workout in...(embarrassed)...maybe a year! I have been riding the exercise bike, doing Pilates, and using the rowing machine, but not my resistance. And resistance is SOOOOOoooooo important!

I'm joining you Fatty...back to "curling" for me to!!!

Salubrious, Thanks for the encouragement. :) It was a bit of a slap in the face. I knew I'd gained some back during my vacation, I didn't think it'd be that much though. I guess those frozen margaritas add up fast. lol It's helped to get me fired up for more exercise, the tough part is keeping up. Glad you like the site too, and thanks for stopping by. :)

Ammy, It's amazing how fast the muscles go away, considering how much you have to work to build them up. It's also crazy how fast water weight adds up. I'm looking forward to the weight coming back off. I'm gonna need new pants soon. haha We're gonna have to cut slits in our sleeves to make room for our biceps soon. grrrrrrr haha
