Exercise should be more fun...

Okay, let me clarify. Some exercises ARE fun, but the ones that catch my interest would require money. Boxing, with Chai is a blast. However neither of us really know how to box, or throw a real punch, footwork, etc. I'd love to take a few boxing lessons and really get into it. There's the money part. Any form of martial arts looks like a bit of fun, and will beat the heck out of your body, but requires lessons. Where as stuff like jogging, is essentially free, minus the footwear, but it's boring as all hell. I want fun exercises, that don't cost money... :( Or a very sizable donation so I can afford to go get lessons on how to properly perform more fun workouts. :)

I want to take a kickboxing class once I get in good enough shape take the class.

You might think about looking to see what your community college or local y offers. I don't know about your area but here you can find all kinds of free classes. Some are pretty good, so are worth their price...giggle

I'd thought about that, but the local Y is actually farther away than my gym, which is kinda out of the way. I've heard from quite a few people that the best way to get into shape for something, is to jump in and do it. :) Granted there's limitations. Personally, I'd just feel like a fool. haha

When I actually get back on my feet that's what I'll have to do. If I don't just jump in with my two left feet, I'll never do it. But I'm getting there. I'm able to get out of the house these days, and that's a miracle within itself.
Hope you can find a way to learn more about boxing or martial arts, because your right they do look like they would be fun.

It's kinda of funny, we need to go from baby steps to leaping in head first. Those medium sized steps are for the birds. :) I'm the same way though, I either need to just jump in, or it never ends up happening.
