I am SO thankful.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
Let's all take the time to be grateful for all that we have. I am most thankful, above all else... for my family.
I whole heartedly, unconditionally, truly, from the bottom of my butt - LOVE them. They would be my favorite people whether I was related to them or not. That is how awesome they are. My brother is my best friend, and my sister is THE most lovable person I've ever known. My mom is the strongest, bravest, most wise person I've been blessed to meet, nevermind be BORN to.
My Dad is smart, funny, and so fun to be around, and my Auntie is just a wellspring of creativity and energy that is contagious.
I know you're jealous... I would be too! :-)

Secondly. Joel. I love that boy beyond belief. He is everything I never thought I'd have. I am grateful for him every single second of every single day.

I am thankful for the health that I have. I am thankful for my job, my friends, my dogs, and my incredible good luck and fortune.

I am also thankful for our few, but loyal readers :-) Thank YOU!

hey, did you stay on plan over the holiday?

I did and it felt (feels) GREAT!

Even worked out on Thanksgiving! What a different holiday than in my "eating" days!!

I sure did, Ammy!

I find it incredibly easy to stay on plan when every one else knows I am on plan! I don't want to look like a weak failure, eating pecan pie when everyone knows I am not supposed to!

Yep...I got some looks from relatives and had to tell them "no thank you" REPEATEDLY to the sweet potatoe (all sugar) casserole and the bread-stuffed mushrooms...but I don't care.

I did NOT gain any weight over the holiday! Not many people can say THAT can they??!!

We did it!!
