Hot Fudge Sundae

I've been having a sweet tooth lately. So I've tried to be good with it, sugar free chocolate sauce, low-carb ice cream, peanut butter mixed with Splenda and nuked, and last night, I found some zero calorie, zero cab marshmallow sauce! SCORE! I love marshmallow sauce.

Heads up, DO NOT BUY THIS! Don't even think about it! We've done low-carb products of the week, I'd recommend this as a low-carb product of the dump. Seriously it tastes okay when you first put it on your tongue. Almost immediatly afterwards, it ends up tasting like you just drank windex. I was very disappointed. :( Please don't make the same mistake I did.
Walden Farms Marshmallow sauce is not for anyone with taste buds. I wish the stuff costed more than $2.50 at the grocery store so I never would have tried it. blecha!

Side note, the low-carb ice cream, with Splenda whipped cream, and peanut butter sauce was definitely awesome. :)

rawr ... you're killing me. :)

I've heard that about lots of Walden Farms products, which is very disappointing because I did buy a few items and am afraid to open them now. The first thing I bought was the caramel sauce (also with intention to use with ice cream) and I can't say it's bad ... but I haven't touched it in over a month so I guess it isn't that good either.

I do the same type of dessert, just with sugar free fudgecicles instead :)

by the way, have you tried the blue bunny no sugar added icecream at walmart? that stuff is fabulous.

Thanks for the heads up, marshmallow sauce sounds divine.

BTW love your blog, found it stumbling around :)

Oct: I think my mom has tried the caramel sauce and said it wasn't bad, but the marshmallow was horrible, it tasted like white windex or something. yuck :( The caramel sauce might have been a different brand, I'm not sure.

Melissa: Fudgcicles aren't bad, but I tend to enjoy the toppings as much, if not more than the ice cream itself. The ice cream is pretty good, not as smooth and creamy as real ice cream, but it has good flavor and is great for holding my peanut butter sauce and whipped cream. :)

Dina: Thanks, I'm glad you like the blog, and hopefully you'll stick around and help keep us motivated. :) I really would love to find a tasty low-carb marshmallow sauce. Walden Farms is definitely a no go for me though. I'd rather drink bleach. haha

hahaha That's brilliant. I tried a little bit of it again last night, after it had been refrigerated... Not much change. :/
