We Kin Get Thin!

Okay, so I'm stealing a quote from Bill Cosby that was featured on SparkPeople.com. I read it and thought, that makes perfect sense, and is very true. In diets and life in general.

The other best thing I lever learned from Bill Cosby is if you're in a falling elevator jump right before it hits the ground. :) Yeah, I know it doesn't really work, but damned if I'm not going to try it if I'm stuck in a falling elevator. haha

Seriously though, that statement rings very true in my ears, I'm I'm pretty sure I can speak for Chai on this one too. Many people start diets not to better themselves for themselves, they do it to fit in. So people stop starring and making rude comments about their size, or general appearance. That is why most diets don't work. Diets or anything in general won't work unless the person is actually ready to change for themselves. Like quitting smoking, if you're not doing it for yourself, your heart isn't in it, and you just don't care enough to actually make the change.

Now if only they'd bring back Picture Pages...
