Update as a conversation...

AIM IM with Adam

Me: Been feeling a little burnt out on dieting Been mostly eating whatever I want, and just working out a crapton to counteract. I am still maintaining fine, but I know its not good

Adam: i know how that feels, at least you're working out to counter balance tho
when i go off, i go OFF

Me: Yah, true dat. Me too, usually... luckily, having the training scheduled every week.. keeps me on track work-out wise. Just need to get back on the tiny-meal wagon.

Adam: the tiny meal wagon just takes off tho...like leaves you in the dust
i don't like it's schedule

Me: Very true. My problem right now is that.. its not like it works for me.
If something was working, I don't think I'd have such a hard time staying on it

Adam: right...if you're not seeing improvement it's almost like...why bother

Me: exactly. And I *know* thats not the mindset to be in, but damn me, if I can help it

Adam: what sane person is going to continue something that DOESN'T work??

Me: Hhaha true.. definition of insanity... and all.

So there you have it. I am doing alright. Maintaining. Not losing. Not eating 100% perfectly. But working out consistently.
Just gotta work on slimming down my portions, and I'll be back on a better track..

Anyways, guys.. don't give up on me just yet. I'm still here, I'm still fighting. :-)
And I will still, somehow, eventually... get to the finish line!

Well, your training is definitely paying off in strength! You've been carrying way heavier stuff than I ever could when helping me move out/unpack. Crazy muscles, yo!

The working out is a major victory, maybe keep going with the small changes make the workouts a part of your life and then add in the food part. It totally blows to keep going if something isn't working, I'm just trying to focus on the process and try to stop thinking about how I'm not losing...

i tend to get really strict on diet and fail on exercise, at least you know that when you do start to lose more weight (and you will!), you'll have a toned and ready for action body waiting for ya!

ps i love it when the comment box header says "go ahead and share a little sumtin, sumtin!"... it says it right now, which is why i'm thinking of it
