Day One

Done and in the books. Not much on the exercise front, but I did try and get myself more prepared for the rest of the week. I went grocery shopping, made some boneless buffalo ribs for lunch today. Mmmm. It is a 2g carb per serving buffalo sauce and I used the whole bottle(total of 12 servings, or 24g carbs), but I don't plan on drinking the sauce when I'm done. ;) I'll let you all know how it is when I try it for lunch. It's a Budweiser brand wing sauce, in HOT variety. I also found a 0g carb per serving blue cheese dressing, which is pretty dang good. A little lacking in chunks, but tasted pretty good. I had some on a small salad with dinner last night. A big ole hunk of steak. Well not that big, I ate maybe 8-10 oz. It was a huge steak, but I only ate about 1/2 of what was on my plate.

For lunch yesterday, Chai and I grabbed some food from the 99's, where I got the lunch portion of steak tips, and an iceberg wedge. I had forgotten breakfast(much like today, I forgot to boil some eggs, that'll happen tonight), so I got a 2oz package of Planters peanuts, and had those as breakfast yesterday. Today was a serving of wasabi dry-roasted edamame. I'm actually about to have another serving right now. :)

I did forget to weigh in first thing Monday morning, and still haven't done it. I'm guessing I'm still around 222 or so. I think that's what it said last time I weighed myself, so I'll be using that as a starting point for now.

Here's the the scale moving in one direction, and muscle mass in another. :)

dry roasted edamame is my new favorite snack! wasabi sounds exciting, possibly too exciting.

I love them, and they're a great low-carb snack, ends up only being 2g per serving, and lots of fiber and protein. I loves me some spicy foods too. mmmmmmm
