Question of the Day - Week 4!

Tell me about the most absurd, ridiculous, or stupid diet or program you've tried to lose weight. 

Me? I remember some diet I did in high school.. it was so specific. Like, one day you'd eat just tomatoes and steak for every meal.  The next day, you'd eat just chicken and bananas for every meal. Each day was different.  No, I didn't lose weight on it :) But I do recall the steak day being a very happy day.  :-) I love steak!

Hmmm there were soooo many. I think the oddest one was the ten day milk fast. For 10 days you were allowed 24oz of skim milk every day... and every third day you got a banana too! The funniest part was Dad decided to do it with me ... he said it was easy.... he lasted 12 hours :-)... I think I lost 14-15 lbs... it came back in a week :-/

It def was the lettuce and vinegar diet. I lost a ton of weight ( 70 lbs) but the second i had a tinny piece of normal food it was back on :(

haha, the craziest thing I did was stay at under 20g carb each day. yes, that is atkins. and now I realize that that was completely wrong for me.

I tried diet pills, that's probably the craziest thing I've done.

I think the most intense was Atkins...the easiest was the "we're poor and have no money for food" diet. I think your skillz in the kitch trippled during that period. Haven't tasted bok choy that good since!

I went on a bread and butter diet when I was in 7th grade.. before it was common knowledge that high carbs= bad.

Hmm ... remembering ... remembering. There was one called "The New York Diet" I think. I don't remember it much but I did lose 20ish pounds. The strangest diet I've heard of is something that my mom used to do. She would eat a tablespoon of raisins for her day's sustainance and would do that for as many days in a row that she needed to reach whatever target weight she needed for whatever event was upcoming. Since she was already slim it didn't take many days to get where she wanted to be.
