A surge of energy. You feelin' it?

Now that my teeny little vacation has come and gone, I'm feeling a strong Full-Speed-Aheadness.
I want to see 210lbs in the very near future.
I want to get into good enough shape to do the Mt Washington climb.
I want to SEE some results. I can feel results. And no doubt - that's awesome. But I'd really like to look in the mirror and see a change.

I am fully on board with the extra-extra cardio plan that Bob suggested. So I will continue with that for the time being. My knee is still having abnormal issues, and that is bugging me. I haven't been able to run for weeks now, and it is frustrating. Luckily, I feel like I've found a good workout in the spin bike. And the Arc-Trainer (elliptical) is an excellent tool for training my legs for the climb.  I don't feel completely stagnant by lack of running, but it does bother me. I had to miss training on Tuesday this week, because my knee was still pissed about walking so much over the weekend.  I have faith that it IS getting better. I am just very surprised at how long it is taking.
Ah well.

I certainly won't let some dumb knee dull my motivation. I haven't yet, and I won't start now!

Are you feeling motivated lately?

What sucks for me, is that I AM feeling motivated, but I don't have the energy to actually accomplish anything. It sucks. So, I kind of feel your pain with regard to your knee and not being able to run but wanting to so badly.

One of my biggest annoyances in life is when you feel so motivated and ambitious mentally, but you're not there physically. It sucks.
