A whole new level*

Today was Day 1 of extra cardio. Trainer Bob was SO very kind enough to offer me use the cardio machine in the early mornings, in order to double up on my cardio. Schedule-wise, I just couldn't seem to make it work, so instead, I decided to just stay after my sessions for some extra cardio time at night.

So, yeah! Tonight was the first.  I did my 15 minute warmup on the spin bike. Then, my hour training session, followed by 35 minutes on the spin bike and then 15 minutes on the elliptical.
2 hours and 5 minutes of s-w-e-a-t! (doesn't help that it's like, a thousand degrees all up in here)

Anyway! I think it went well. My left knee (the recently angry one) is just now hurting pretty badly, but during my workout it was all green-lights, so I can't complain.

What now, you ask? Well, I'll tell you!
NOW, it's the weekend for me! That's right. I am taking Joel away for a surprise B-day weekend trip!
I'll be back on Tuesday with pictures, I am sure.
I will promise you, I picked a hotel with a free fitness room, so don't you worry about me!

* the backstory of the subject is : When I got home from the gym, and told Joel about my extra cardio, he said "BAM! You're on a whole new level!"  And I rather enjoyed that thought!
