Life Alive

My friend Becky took me to a restaurant she loves called Life Alive.  It's an adorable organic hippie place. They make juices and smoothies, as well as a large menu of salads, stir fries, and wraps.

I forgot my camera, but I snapped a couple pics with my phone!

Here is our juice!

Mine (right) is the Ginger Crush (Ginger, lemon, maple syrup, ice, and water)
Becky's (left) is... I forget!  But I *think* it was the Vibe Alive (Blueberry, Banana, Vanilla Rice Dream, Rice Milk)

Here's my lady, looking cute!

Now, onto our entreés!

This is The Explorer (Our scrumdelyishus homemade lowfat Red Lentil Hummus, paired with sesame crunches, sundried tomatoes, cucumber, corn, spring mix and a sprinkle of shredded carrots and beets all traveling together with our fantastic honey wasabi vinaigrette. A dreamy destination!)

This was seriously good. It was light and refreshing but hearty and filling. It was so lightly dressed, there was no puddle of dressing at the  bottom like normal restaurant salads.

This place was SO SO cute! The decor was fun and the service was so friendly. This place is downtown, and as you all know, I am quite a pansy when it comes to driving downtown, so I won't be able to visit here often. But Becky did promise to bring me back again! :-)
