Busy girl

I haven't lost weight, but yet somehow, my ring is falling off my finger.
My body never seems to make sense!

I've been really busy lately, and though that sucks for a lot of reasons, being busy is always good for my diet. Most people complain about the opposite... being on the go, never time to prep a proper meal, etc. Not me. I do my best dieting when I am so busy. Because when I have little time to eat, it means I also have little time to cook, and the cooking "process" is when all the mistakes can be made.

To me, the quickest, easiest foods are the ones that are easy to prepare and can travel. To some people, that means things like hot pockets and snack packs of chips. To me, it means fruits, veggies, yogurts, protein shakes. So. Easy.

Anyway, the moral of my story is... though the scale isn't budging (yet), I feel a movement coming on. It's still frustrating, having to lose that mysterious 10lbs that I gained. But down is down, and I'll still be happy about it. So, wish me luck... I'd love to get the ball rolling on my 29th year goals! :-)

This week I finally got to hang out with Melissa a little bit (yay!)
We crafted a bit, and I had a project to make for a girl who goes to my gym.
Please check it out here! Melissa's blog is full of crafty inspiration, and a bonus of baby stuff :-)

I really wish I had something insightful to share with you. I'm just plugging along. Keeping on keeping on. Fighting the good fight, and all that.

:-)

I totally know the feeling, but any reduction in size is a victory so yay!

I feel the same way you do. When I am busy that is when I am at my best with the gym and diet. I don't have time to put the gym off....I just get in and get it done and foods are easier to make when I am short on time. So true!
