Day 13

Day 13 : Somewhere you'd like to move or visit.

I'm a weird bird.  I want to see exotic new places, but I am terrified of travel.  Not the flying or anything. Literally just, the travel.   I get so much anxiety over things.. am I on the right plane? am I late? how will I find where I need to go? etc, etc, etc.  It's awful.
Because of this, I never really dreamed of traveling. But luckily, now I have Joel. When we travel, he takes care of everything and then I am not so nuts.  Now that I've been somewhere other than New England, I would eventually like to  move somewhere warmer.  Florida was so amazing... the weather, and the vibe you get from a place with nice weather... is so nice.  It's more like a lifestyle, than just weather.  Everyone is outside, you go to a restaurant and you eat outside.  You walk places, because its so nice out!  Convertibles everywhere!  It is like my heaven!

As for visiting... I'd LOVE to see Italy, England, France, anywhere in Africa, Egypt, Ireland, Iceland, Scotland!  I am completely captivated by old architecture, food, and cultural history and all these places seem so interesting!  And of course gorgeous places like Alaska and Hawai'i.  And the Grand Canyon!
Big dreams, big dreams ;-)

I think it's hilarious that you want to live in Florida, but if I remember correctly, you want to live near the ocean. Florida gets SO humid for a few months of the year, and I know how hot you get!

Yeah.. though its more like how hot I USED to get! I get cold now, which is annoying in the winter.. but while we were in Florida it was 90+ for a few days and I was happy with it!
I don't know if its necessarily Florida that I'd want to move to, but the warmth is definitely something I like! And being near the water... and the beaches there were phenomenal!

San Diego for you, then! Dry, and warm, and lovely all year.

And a bonus to San Diego? Just a short drive over to Vegas, to visit ME!

Well said about Florida! I feel the same way about San Francisco - the nice weather really is a lifestyle. Most restaurants have outdoor seating and everyone is so active.

I bet you would love San Diego too ;-)
