Can't Trust That Day

I cannot fathom how it is already Monday again.  How does that happen!?

I had a lovely weekend.  The Taylor Hicks concert, as you know, was great!
And the next night I had a wonderful night out with my Mom & Grammie.  We went out to dinner and then attended my Aunt's concert.  She is in a singing group with about 30 other people.  It was awesome!
They had a Celtic theme for the night, which included a super fun Irish sing-a-long :-) Loved it!

Words cannot express how it feels to see my Auntie on a stage again.
My Auntie is an unbelievable performer. She has been acting and singing her entire life, and so I grew up being in the theater with her and seeing her talent shine. It's been awhile since I've seen her perform. And she was phenomenal.  Hearing her voice for me is like the strongest nostalgic flashback, and yet its also like the first time every time.

Saturday was my Grampa's birthday, he would have been 77 I think.  So spending the evening with my Grammie, and with music (which my Grampa loved) was perfect.

Switching gears....

I have 4 days left of my Fructose Malabsorption diet trial.  But I feel like it's pretty apparent already that there is no basis to assume I have this.  Which, like when testing for anything, is good and bad.
Good because I don't want this problem! But bad because now it's back to square one.
There has been no change in weight or symptoms.

As for Insanity! Woo!  Man, it does get insane!
Saturday's was difficult, but great.  Yesterday, despite being changed and ready to sweat, I had to skip the DVD because my knee was really grumpy.  I grappled with it for a bit, but was ultimately sure I made the right decision, because by the evening, I could barely walk on it, and doing Insanity would have downright crippled me!

It is going to take me a long time to finish the whole program, but I don't mind!

Lastly, I'd like to say Hello to my lady Melissa!  Who is back to work today for the first time since baby Austin was born.  It can't be easy... and I'll be thinking of her all day!
