Decision '08

Fooled ya! This entry is NOT about the election.

It's about my decision to "re-induct" into Atkins, starting today.
I got on the scale this morning, and it's up to 240lbs. And that makes me sad.
While in the shower, I thought of what I could possibly do to drop SOME kind of weight. I still have no grand ideas.

So, it's not like I had great success in my first and second rounds of Induction, but, any change is welcome at this point.

I have quite a few restaurant outings this month, so I'll just have to do my best.

Anyways, operation Induction starts today.
And I need to give another boost to my exercising. I've been doing about 3-4 days a week, but I need to get it in even more. I'll try for that as well.

Alright.... here it be.... Rules of November -

• Induction menu ONLY for at least 2 weeks, starting today

• Drink more mother'f'ing WATER.

• Exercise no less than 4 days a week, but aim for 6

• DO NOT WEIGH IN until the end of the 2 week induction. (Nov. 19th)(I can hear you chuckling at this one!)

I also REALLLLLLLY need to drink more water.

I've been slacking, down to maybe 4 servings tops a day. Not good!

Yah, I typically drink NO water at all. On an average day I drink maybe 8-10 ounces of liquid. And it's usually a coffee, or a diet coke.

I wish my body wanted it!

It might help to document your food everyday...exactly what and how much you are eating. It will also give you something to 'blog' about on those days you got nothin'!

I, too, am struggling, but I down to my last 30lbs (lost 116 so far).
I do so much better when I tell others (on my BB) what I'm eating, how much, and when...then I WANT to stick to my plan so that I don't have to slink back and admit I did something differently.
I'm down 10 so far!!!

Chai - do you write down all your food? I found that using thedailyplate.com has really helped me see exactly how much I am eating, and how my macros fall.

Just never give up. You can always keep starting again. I went through a hellacious plateau that lasted around a year, but eventually got past it. Took a lot of figuring out and then some regain (not recommended) to break it.

Yup! I do document all my foods.
I use Sparkpeople :-)
It's good at keeping snacks out of my mouth. :-)
