Something is moving

And it's the scale! I hopped on the thing this morning. 217.6... fully clothed! That puts me about 18 pounds over where I was when I stopped low-carbing the first time, and down about 8 pounds from where I just was. Not too bad considering I've done next to nothing for exercise.

I'm heading over to Chai's tonight, and tomorrow to use her "gym" and try and kick ass with the routines she's written up for me. I'm not sure what I'll have for free time this weekend, but if I find some, maybe I'll give Chai a call and see if she's down for beating me up some more.

I have found it's been easier following my own rules for low-carbing. I'm not keeping strict count on what I eat, but I stick to things I know are lower. I read labels again when I'm buying stuff, and I don't obsess over it. I may not lose as much, as fast, but I'm still losing, and I'm not fiending for pizza, rice, pasta, etc yet. Maybe those pants will fit again fairly soon. :)
